WWE pulled multiple swerves earlier this year to form Paul Heyman’s so-called Trifecta of Terror with Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. The heel faction immediately shook things up on RAW and SmackDown, but future plans just leaked will surely impact the storylines in a major way.
Factions have been a major part of pro wrestling drama for years, and it’s no secret that Triple H is a big fan of stable wars in WWE. Heyman has led several groups over the years, from The Dangerous Alliance to The Bloodline, and his creative genius keeps things interesting. The WWE Hall of Famer turned on Roman Reigns to side with CM Punk, then turned on the former AEW World Champion to unite with Rollins, but another turn by Heyman is reportedly in the works.
WWE’s Creative Writing Team has longterm goals for the Heyman faction, and eventually the idea is to have Breakker turn on Rollins. Bodyslam.net’s Viper adds that the turn is still a long way away, but the seeds have been planted.
The Unpredictable Badass is viewed by WWE officials as the future of the main event scene. While details are not clear this far out, word is that Breakker’s split from Rollins will be explosive, when it does happen. In another sign of big things to come for Bron, it’s believed that The Wise Man will stay with the son of Rick Steiner once the split from The Architect goes down.
WWE Planning A Slow-Build To Turmoil Among The Paul Heyman Guys
Bronson Reed returned to the main event scene when he returned from injury and joined Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Seth Rollins. In the latest Bodyslam.net report, sources did not provide an update on potential plans for The King of Monsters, but Reed will likely maintain a spot near the top.
The storyline is really moving forward with a busy summer season, but plans for the eventual split between The Paul Heyman Guys was described as representing “a major shift at the top,” if everything goes according to plan. It was also noted that WWE has “big moves ahead” for the storyline, with Bodyslam pointing to how the best moves often come after they simmer for a period with a slow-build.
