Put your thinking caps on and prepare to break your limits as the match 3 Puzzle & Dragons goes a bit manga. The weekly shonen publication form one of Japan’s biggest physical publishers is coming to the popular dragon based brain teaser. The new arrival brings popular characters from the printed page onto screens right now, and running up until April 21, 17:59 (UTC-8).
Players across iOS and Android devices can head back to the adventure and clear levels by matching familiar faces and new ones. The likes of Shidou Ryusei, Wethermon the Tombguard, and the iconic Fairy Tail are just a few of the names that you might recognize if you’re busy flipping through manga or deep into your Crunchyroll subscription. The new crossover introduces these titles and characters as dungeons and challenges, giving players the opportunity to grab new loot.
Dungeon Time
Weekly Shonen Magazine-Novice and Weekly Shonen Magazine-Expert dungeons can now be explored at Special Dungeons. Collect Magazine Medals here and exchange them for limited-time characters at the Monster Exchange. Mard Geer Tartaros Descended, Wethermon the Tombguard Descended, and Shidou Ryusei Descended unlock as new special dungeons, each with a ton of character and quest rewards and a special multiplayer mode too.
This isn’t everything. You’ll be able to take on the Weekly Shonen Magazine Colosseum and the [FAIRY TAIL] Title Challenge!
Rewards and shop additions mean tons of characters and rewards on offer. The Weekly Shonen Magazine collab characters, including Ego Jinpachi, will be available at the Monster Exchange up until the 21 April. The MP shop will be stocked full of 7 new bundles packed with Magic Stones Egg pulls and event medals for you to use on grabbing even more loot.
