It’s been far too long since the enthralling conclusion to Arcane Season 2 hit our screens, but Riot’s marvellous animation is more than just a pretty picture. The audio landscape of Piltiover and Zaun helped push this hit series up the charts, and we get a reminder of that success today. Riot Games and Virgin Music Group just released the music video for Stromae and Pomme’s single, Ma Meilleure Ennemie. You can watch the video right now, or close your eyes and shuffle around the room with Jinx and Ekko.

The new video expands upon the iconic dance sequence between the two fan favorite characters that occurred in Episode 7 of the second series. This moment in an alternative timelines is captured throughout the new presentation, putting both characters and their relationship at the fore. It’s just as sweet and melancholy as you remember the firs time around. It’s no surprise that Riot chose to follow up with a music video for the track. The initial release of Ma Meilleure Ennemie was Riot’s biggest streaming debut, peaking at over 10 million streams per day, reaching Top 3 globally on Spotify charts, and #1 on radio in France and Belgium. It is also certified Platinum in France and #1 on the US World Music Chart. The track also debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, a first for both Stromae and Pomme, and debuted on Billboard’s Global Excl. US chart at #8.

 

 

Fans of Arcane will also be able to get more of the music soon too. The hit soundtrack will get a deluxe edition in April 2025. Including the likes of Linkin Park’s Heavy is the Crown, the heart breaking I Can’t hear it Now, and a range of additional remixes and features, this will be the ultimate way to enjoy the music of this chart-topping animation series. Me, I’m hoping that there’s a physical version of the Arcane Deluxe edition coming too.
