Fox has dropped the first footage of its upcoming psychological thriller series Memory of a Killer, starring Patrick Dempsey and Michael Imperioli.

Set to The Who’s “Behind Blue Eyes” with no dialogue but a lot of action, we get a first look at Dempsey as Angelo Ledda, a hitman who is leading a dangerous double life while hiding an even deadlier personal secret: He has developed early-onset Alzheimer’s.

The promo will air tonight during Game 1 of the World Series, which sees the Los Angeles Dodgers face off against the Toronto Blue Jays in Toronto.

From writers Ed Whitmore and Tracey Malone, Memory of a Killer is inspired by the award-winning 2003 Belgian thriller De Zaak Alzheimer (La Memoire Du Tueur).

Imperioli stars as Dutch, Angelo’s oldest friend and an accomplished chef whose restaurant is a front for criminal enterprise.

Cast also includes Richard Harmon as Joe, a hitman; Odeya Rush as Maria, Angelo’s daughter; Daniel David Stewart as Jeff, Maria’s husband; Peter Gadiot as Dave, a local police detective and Gina Torres as Special Agent Linda Grant.

Memory of a Killer is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment. Whitmore and Malone executive produce alongside Cathy Schulman of Welle Entertainment and David Schulner. Arthur Sarkissian and Martin Campbell are also executive producers, along with Peter Bouckaert of Eyeworks.
