Developer ArenaNet has unveiled detail on the latest piece of quarterly expansion content coming to Guild Wars 2. Repentance is the second narrative adventure coming to heroes of Tyria and we’re getting more Mursaat. A new map will also bring Commanders and Wayfinders closer to the enigmatic titans, their legends, and the rewards that follow.
Like any sizeable content update from this MMORPG, we know there’s a brand-new map coming. Players will soon be able to explore the Mistburned Barrens and delve into the mysteries of the mysterious Mursaat, long a source of legend stretching back to the original Guild Wars. Contend with their arcane experiments that rendered their lands riven by spectral agony and bloodstone magic and try not to end up a victim of a once mighty empire. As you delve deep inside the ruins of Bava Nisos watch out for the Mists gate that brought the titans to Tyria. These monstrous creatures and their elemental destruction are no simple challenge, and players looking to try their luck will find the titan Greer added to the Janthir Wilds Convergence gameplay mode. This adds the aforementioned menace to alternating boss rotations, where players can test themselves in a massive 50-player activity. Anybody looking for something even more challenging can check out the Mount Balrior raid.
Rewards are the big draw, and this update converges with a Wizrd’s vault refresh, new minipets, extra Homestead recipes, a new weapon and armor set, and six new relics.
